When you come at the “Borghetto di Pedana” you can easily experience the sensation that here time seems to have stood still. This B&B impresses both for its amazing vista on the valley and for its nice peculiarity of an ancient last Eighteenth century farmhouse.
The origin of the name “Borghetto” comes from the old owner of the house: a strange person from the neighbourhood named “Pedana”, known by everyone for its short temper.
The B&B has been restored through the years, from a country house it has turned into a nice holiday house equipped with all the comforts for its guests, keeping the original atmosphere of an ancient village.
Currently, you can now admire a stone made structure, with red brick and timber roofs, carved stone elements as washbasins and fireplaces, dry laid walls fencing the whole garden and pool, besides an authentic last Eighteenth Century folk art furniture coming from the old owners.
